The popular BeagleBone Black is now Wireless! Even though the BeagleBone Green superseded the BBB in adding Wireless capabilities first, it's neverthless a much needed addition on the original BBB. This new Wireless BeagleBone Black replaces the onboard Ethernet port to now include a 802.11 b/g/n 2.4GHz WiFi and Bluetooth.
Another significant difference is the use of the Octavo System in Package Moudule that was announced a while back. This SiP provisions the BeagleBone core functionality onto a single BGA package, which is beneficial while building derivative products/solutions based off the BBB.
However, the RAM is still stuck up at 512MB and the board still features a 4GB onboard eMMC. As always, the complete board design is OpenSource including the PCB Design files and can be downloaded from here.
